Amber Knoll Farm, in Be chtelsville, is a family affair, with siblings Amy and Seth Wolfgang and Karen Sterner taking their animals in the ring. The farm topped the Ayrshire class with their supreme cham pion, followed by Jill Vail, of Myerstown, winning reserve su preme champion with her Jersey. Curtis Day, of Tri- Day Holsteins in Shippensburg, judged the event. Ayrshire Takes Top Award At Allentown Shannon Semmel, SchnecKs ville, took home both grand and reserve champion female honors. Karen Sterner, Bechtels ville, won grand champion female Guernsey, with reserve going to Nathan Phillips, Mertz town. Hannah Miller of Tamaqua took home the grand champion female placing in the Holstein show and Jennifer Rassler, Kempton, the reserve grand champion placing. In the large Jersey show, grand champion distinction went to Jill Neiman, Fleetwood, with Katie Harwich, Kempton, taking home reserve grand champion female honors. In the Milking Shorthorn show, Kevin McGinnis of Soud erton showed the grand and re serve champion females. In the Lineback show, an “up and coming” breed, according to ex tension agent Steve Dietrich, Seth Wolfgang, Bechtelsville, won grand champion and Jill Vail, Myerstown, took home re serve grand champion.
