Somerset County DHIA Board recently voted to join Lancaster DHIA as their service provider of choice to serve DHIA mem bers in Somerset County. Tim Flannery, President of Somerset Board, said he is pleased that due to lower overhead by Lan caster DHIA, they will be able to reduce rates to the Dairymen, as well as provide assurance that all Dairymen will receive 12 tests per year. In addition, the Technicians will be rewarded with wage increases and better benefits. All three present Tech nicians, Leonard Miller, Paul Martin and Rodney Darr will work for Lancaster and continue KILE Set Oct. 4-9 HARRISBURG (Dauphin Co.) The 2000 Keystone In ternational Livestock Exposition (KILE) will be conducted at the Farm Show Complex Oct. 4-9. The featured species will be swine. There will be a repeat of the one-day Barrow Show started last year. In the sheep area, a Pennsyl vania Junior Market Lamb Show has been added. In the horse area, the largest point class in the country will be on Saturday night when the hitch classes compete in the large arena.
