In the Eastern region, prices were unchanged to slightly higher. Elsewhere, prices were unchanged. The market tone tanged steady to cautiously firm, mostly steady to fully steady. Demand was generally mixed, fair to good at times, mostly moderate, and was best for the occasional retail promotion. Supplies were usually adequate, but often held with seasonal confidence. Breaking stock sup plies were mostly adequate for the fair demand. Light type fowl were sufficient for current needs.
