Lancaster Farming, Saturday, June 19, 1999 In the 110 years that water flow data on the Susquehanna River has been recorded at Harrisburg, the record low flow is currently being observed, for this time of year. Much of the state is experienc ing record low or near record low water flows that historically aren't reached until late July or August, after a typically dry summer. These three beautiful workhorses are typical of the 60 to 70 horses that will be working the fields at Horse Progress Days to be held at the Rough and Tumble Museum grounds at Kinzers in early July. It's a great honor for the brothcr and-sister partnership of Millie Widmann and Axel Unde, owners of Lindenhof Guernseys, located near the small village of Union, along the southeastern edge of the Lancaster County.
