Com bids finished steady to slightly higher, supported by additional export tales to South Korea. Soybean bids were lower on planting prog ress and lack of export orders. Wheat steady to 1 cent lower. Com mixed. Sorg hum steady. Soybeans 2 to 4 cents lower. Com planters ate rolling and although it's late, farmers haven't switched and are planting at a rapid pace. Com is coming up in many fields that did look bare with no till planting. Hard to tell how many acres have been seeded but now atalks ate break ing through the dying foliage that was burned down. Farmers are reluctant to switch to soybeans after many had higher price fertilizers and chemicals put on the ground. They do not want to spend 300.00 per acre to plant 4.00 soybeans.
