The quality of the steer supply was very good and demand held up extremely well, considering the large offering. Holstein steer prices were steady, compared to Monday's lower market and slaughter heifers sold .50 low er. Slaughter cows were steady with Tues day's active market and the slaughter bulls sold mostly steady with few outstanding bulls to test the top of the price range.
