Slaughter calves sold mostly steady with Monday’s weak market and the supply was very plain. Demand was only moderate for Holstein bull calves returning to feed and prices were mostly steady. Holstein heifer calf trading was very active and prices were sharply higher, with the highest prices paid in months. Supply included 343 head in the State graded sale and around 87 percent returned to the farm. 1369 VEALERS: Good and Choice 70-110 lbs 20.00-30.00. Standard and low Good 60-90 lbs 11.00-20.00.
