The U.S. Department of Agriculture has been authorized to implement a 9-month loan prog ram for honey produced in 1998. Producers who have extracted honey during 1998 may place the honey under loan if it is stored in eligible containers. The loans will only be available during a 60-day period after the regulations are published in the Federal Register.
