Monroe County 4-H’ers re ceived recognition for taking part in 4-H events and activities during the year. The 4-H program is de signed to leach life skills to youth, ages 8-19, while they work through various projects. In 1998, 1,61 S youth woe en rolled in 2,662 4-H projects in Monroe County.
