National Cream Separator Club To Meet The National Dairy & Cream Separator Club will hold its 12th annual convention at the Beaver Fair Grounds, Beaver Springs. The event will be held June 20 and 21, 1998. For those who arrive Thursday or Friday, an open house has been arranged at Gene and Janet Willow’s farm and at Terry and Shirley Womer's farm, Middleburg. At these farms collections of antique farm machinery, corn shelters, tractors, and sewing machines can be seen in their native settings. At the convention, arrangements have been made to use the fair buildings for displays of early milking equipment, cream separators, advertising memora bilia and other dairy and ag related items. A swap meet, consignment sate, and a silent auction and raffle will also be part of the event. In the photo, Scott, Shirley and Terry Womer, show some interesting antiques in their summer house setting. The Womers are helping to host the event. The Most Active Member Award went to Dave Gerhart The Solanco Chapter Apprecia tion Award went to Wayne Knot. Knerr was recognized for his sup port with providing scales and weigh wagons during the silage test plot harvest the Young Far mer demonstration plot and for his service to the Solanco chapter.
