Steve and wife Kathy farm in a dairy partnership with Steve’s parents near Quatryville. Dairy awards were presented. They are: • Most Improved Herd: Jill Hamish for 2,086 pounds milk and 54 pounds protein over 1996 production. • Highest Herd Average For the Holstein Breed: Jill Hamish, 24,200 pounds milk, 859 pounds fat, and 770 pounds protein. • High Individual Cow- Holstein Breed: Dwayne Peifcr, Cow #7O, 35,929 pounds milk, 1,040 pounds protein. • Honorable Mention Award- Grey wood Farms.
