It is a leam by-doing program designed to utilize hands-on experiences and constructive fun to teach youth valuable life skills. This is accomplished through regular club meetings, a variety of activities and projects, exchange trips, tours, camps, competitions, etc. Four-H also teaches youth self-esteem and leadership skills plus bas ic knowledge in a variety of project areas that are of interest to the member. One of the 4-H projects available to youth is dairy. Members select a dairy animal (preferab ly registered) to care for and to exhibit at various dairy shows.
