As the agricultural community becomes increasingly global, it is crucial that young people considering car eers in the industry understand the opportunities and challenges of in ternational trade. A group of 34 national FPA award winners will tour European agricultural sites this summer and see first-hand what the interna tional marketplace has to offer. Following an orientation session in Washington. D.C., the group will leave on June 18 for a 12-day tour of Scotland, England, Bel gium, and France. “FFA and agricultural educa tion use hands-on learning to sup plement classroom education, and international issues arc no excep tion,” said Larry D.
