Pineapple Supreme 1 envelope unfavored gelatin Vi cup cold water 1 tablespoon pure lemon juice 9-ounce can crushed pineapple, undrained 2 3-ounce packages cream cheese Sprinkle gelatin over water in a small saucepan. Dissolve over medium heat, stirring constantly. Stir in lemon juice.'ln a blender, liquify pineapple with half the cream cheese. When completely blended, add the remaining cream cheese and liq- fy. Combine with gelatin. Pour into individual dessert dishes. Sugarless Apple Pie 6 medium sliced Delicious apples 1 6-ounce can frozen apple juice Combine apples and juice and cook for 5 minutes. Dissolve: I'A tablespoon cornstarch 'A cup water Stir into apple mixture. Bring to a boil and boil for a few minutes until soft and thick. Stir in 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Fill pie shell with apple mixture. Add a top crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Baste with melted butter after baking. ANSWER Sarah Clark, Breezewood, wanted a recipe for beehive cake. Batter: 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 tablespoons butter '/a cup milk Topping: 10 tablespoons brown sugar % cup melted butter 1 /« cup heavy cream 1 cup shredded coconut 1 teaspoon vanilla Grease an BxB-inch pan. Mix together eggs, sugar, vanilla, flour, and-baking powder. Bring milk and butter to a boil and mix with batter mixture. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
