Convention activities will begin with a pre-convention tour that will include Hershey, Lancaster, Amish country, the Gettysburg Battlefield and famous Holsteins at Em-Tran. The convention itself will fea ture farm tours in Somerset Coun ty, a golf tournament at a Pitts burgh area country club, various tours around the city and a ‘Taste of Pennsylvania” steak cook-out to be sponsored by the Pennsylva nia Cattlemen’s Association at the Point State Park. Another highlight should be the national sale that is to feature 80 live head and SO of the country’s best genetics. Also, there is to be a special guest speaker. Dr. Kevin Leman, the author of the book, “The Birthing Order.” Creative association members and members of their families will be able to enter an art photography and quilt contest Some of the con test entries are to be auctioned off during the convention banquet During the entire convention, there will be a dairy bar and SO commercial exhibits running con tinually in the convention center. One of the most important events scheduled for the conven tion is the election of the national association’s officers.
