The Profiles are designed to pro vide an alternative to the enforcement-based Official DHI Rules program, and represent a major opportunity to strengthen the flow of production data throughout the dairy industry. Paul Knox, a New Hampshire pro ducer well-known in genetic cir cles, referred to these Profiles as “a stroke of genius.” The delegate action clears the way for additional research, implementation, and field educa tion necessary to support the Pro files program. Implementation is expected in 12-18 months.
