Vance Uden, Franklin, Neb., judged the 206 entries at the 1994 Atlantic National Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show in Timonium, Md. Cattle from throughout the eastern and midwestern United States competed for grand honors and ROV points at the event held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds Memorial Day weekend. Whitestone Farm, Aldie, Va., made a clean sweep by taking home both the grand champion fe male and grand champion bull banners. This year’s show was also dedicated to Whitestone own ers Robbie and Kilty Robertson and George Lemm. Whitestone’s grand bull entry, Whitestone Fly Traveler 3006, was also named the supreme champion entry of the show. The lunnL Wynn Dalton, right of Altavista, Va., was recipient of the 1994 Calderazzo Award presented at the Atlantic National Roll of Victory Angus Show In Tlmonlum, Md. Presenting the award Is show manager Harry Bachman. The award Is annually presented to an outstanding volunteer contribu tor to the Atlantic National Angus Show. Dalton was honor ed this year for her dedication to organizing the Atlantic National Junior Angus Association. She was a major force in establishing and organizing the Junior group, now In Its second year. The February 1993 daughter of TC Dividend 963 first won the early spring heifer calf division. Longaberger Farms, Dresden, Ohio, and Whitestone Krebs, Gor don, Neb., jointly own the reserve grand champion female named WK Pure Style. The entry first won the late spring calf division and is a March 1993 daughter of Da Es Ro Casey 629. The reserve grand champion bull was M D Patton Banker, a January 1992 son of P F Hamilton 9H24.
