Doebler’s 73XP 112 Day Relative Maturity 129.4 bu. at 26.1% H 2 Q 1993 PA Commercial Hybrid Com Tests Report late medium-season hybrids (Maturity Zone 3) check this out placed 4th in yield and better than 10 bu. above the average and fourth driest in the test and also more than 2% dryer than first place finisher, this was this past season’s harvest. Look at two-year average performance from the same source and you find that Doebler’s 73XP was third overall with 146.8 bu. at 27.6% H 2 O which is only one bushel away from first place, but 73XP was 1.8% dryer than the first place finisher. Doebler’s 73XP also placed Ist in yield (169.2 bu. at 19% H 2 O) in the 1993 Maryland Hybrid Field Corn Performance Trials Early Maturity Group (Howard County). Again in the Mid-Maturity Group 73XP was highest in yield with 162.2 bu. at 20.4% in Howard County. Both tests (Early and Mid) this hybrid was lower in moisture than the average. 1992 Forage Trials Report Doebler’s Precedent Alfalfa seeded August 1988 at the Rock Springs location has produced some very interesting results.
