Richard, 18. is the son of Richard and Kay Kerper, Oley. Richard, an Oley Valley High School senior, is a member of the Berks County 4-H Swine Club. The hog was obtained from the Oscar Man beck herd in Bethel. This is the second year in a row for a champion hog at the Reading FOR OVER 75 YEARS Brings In Fair for Richard, who said another littermate may also be going to the slate Farm Show in January. Reserve champion went to Jen Rabenold, 16, daughter of Brenda and Carl Rabenold, Kutztown, exhibited a 212-pound hog from the middle weight division to a reserve championship. She will be showing hogs at the county round up and the state Farm Show in January. Judge for the show was Grant Lazarus, Busy Acres Farm, White Hall.
