Wayne County 4-H livestock show and sale in the history of Wayne County 4-H. The 4-H Sheep Show began Vw'-Wn Holds Livestock with the showmanship contest. Champion showman went to Val erie Ebert, winner of the junior division. Reserve champion show man went to Joshua Gustock, intermediate division winner. In the 4-H Sheep Breeding Show, Jennifer Rickert exhibited the champion and reserve champ ion Hampshire ewes. The champ ion Suffolk ewe was shown by Thomas Ebert. In the market lamb show, 41 lambs were paraded before judge Chris Herr. Garnering grand champion honors was Earl Mar shall with his 119-pound Suffolk lamb. Reserve grand champion honors went to Andrew Korfo with a 118-pound Dorset. Judge Ken Winebark placed 30 very competitive steers in the 4-H Market Steer Show. Grand champion honors went to Scott Lewis, showing a 1,245-pound Maine Anjou/Angus steer. Reserve grand champion went to Nick Nebzydoski with a 1,065-pound Simmental. Every beef exhibitor also parti cipated in a fitting and showing competition. Grand champion fit ter was won by Scott Lewis while reserve champion fitter went to Charles Megivem. The 4-H Market Hog Show in Wayne County has become one of the largest and most competitive market hog shows in all of Pen nsylvania. Swine judge Keith Bryan was very impressed with the quality of-the 133 market hogs that he sorted through. After a long hard day, Jimmie Ann Chyle’s 247-pound crossbred was named grand champion.
