But, she's as happy as a flea on a coon dog contentedly raising sheep on a small farm near Ever ett Inci was working as a broadcas ter to BBC when she spent a weekend in the country, learned how to grow flowers, and knew that the city was no longer for her. She has a flock of 32 sheep in cluding Cheviot and North Coun try Cheviots, Scots Half-breed, Border Leister and Texel. “I think I am the first person in Pennsylva nia to have Texel sheep," Inci says. Pointing out the beefy 7-month old animal in a pen at the recent Bedford County Sheep and Wool Field Day. Inci explains that Tex els will weigh between 250 and 350 pounds at maturity. “I read about them for a long time before getting one for my self,” Inci explains. “They are great sheep.
