Melissa McClune did a demon stration on the structure of the hoof. Dallassa Bowman and Nicole Rose did a demonstration on groomjng a horse. The next meeting will be held on February 4 at 7 p.m. At this meeting, Becky Preiss, a Boots & Saddles 4-H Club member who went to states in grooming and showmanship, will be speaking to the group. Adams County 4-H Dairy Club The Adams County 4-H Dairy Club met at the extension office on Jan. 18. President Joy Hess called the meeting to order. There were 22 members present. Old and new business was discussed. Five members were recognized for showing at the Farm Show: Anthony Hill, Kristen Hill, Shan non Holtzinger, Brian Coulson, and Joy Hess. Four new members were pre sent Brandy Rhodes and Nathan Rhodes are from Gettysburg. Brandy joined because she thought it would be fun, Nathan joined because he thought it would be fun, and his sister joined. Becky Howard from Littlestown wanted to join to show cows.
