Work experience includes beef breeding and finishing. “I raise registered Limousin breeding cattle for my projects,” he said. “They are shown at local fairs, Keystone Livestock Expo, and Pennsylva nia Farm Show.” Ben has participated in the county ag mechanics contest and trac tor driving. He has received various awards, including proficiency recognition in beef production and public speaking. He received two gold medals in record keep ing for beef breeding, and one silver for beef finishing. Son of Robert and Rita Stone, Williamsburg, Scott has five years of membership in the chapter. Project activities as a member include oats, wheat, rye, timothy, com, soybeans, dairy cows, dairy heifers, dairy beef, beef breeding, beef finishing, market hogs, ag research, and work experience on his father’s dairy farm and at the county extension office. Scott said he has started his own registered Limousin herd. He has been chapter president for two years and chairman of the 1992 nominating commit tee. Also, he received a silver in the state diversified crop production contest and third in the state public speaking contest He said he plans to run for a state FFA office this summer, with plans to attend either Delaware Valley College or Penn State to major in ag education and minor in ag business, then to school to become a lawyer.
