The Adams 4-H Clubs recently held their 4-H Dairy Club banquet and 4-H Achievement Night Several 4-H members were honored at the events, including Jayne Hess, Outstanding Member Award; Anthony Hill, Junior Award; and Kristen Hill, The Novice Award at the dairy ban quet held at St John’s United Church of Christ New Chester. Rough Riders Meet The Rough Riders Horse and Pony Club will hold their first meeting of the new year on Thurs day, Jan. 7, at the regular meeting site on Sigman Road in New Pro vidence at 7 p.m. The club welcomes anyone interested in horses. You do not have to own a horse, a certain breed of horse, or a certain type of horse to join. However, you have to be eight years old as of Jan. 1, 1993 or not over 18 as of Jan. 1, 1993. All that you need is to have a love for horses and the desire to learn. Some of the events the club stages during the year are trail rides, fun shows, campouts, clin ics, and demonstrations. We also feature guest speakers. If you are interested call a lead er. Club meetings are usually the first Thursday of the month. Club leader is John Henry, who lives at Mt. Nebo.
