They were untwisted and headed in the right direction within moments. “Hey, this is great tasting stuff,” said Sam Thieret, left, as he indulged in eating a maple syrup sundae. Richard Mummert agreed. Thieret, from Thomasvllle, and Mummert, from Dover, said that even though they are retired farmers, farming is still in their blood. Every year they come to Ag Progress Days to enjoy the exhibits, great food, and farm tours. One to churn, one to hold the freezer steady, and another to supervise.
