RISSER ESTATE SALE A Public Sale of 2 outstanding Lancaster County farms were sold March 23 for the estate of Naomi N. Risser. There were about 1000 people attending the auction. The Sun Hill farm located on the comer of Bucknoll and Woodlot Rds. in Penn Twp. was sold for $662,000 or $7,760 per acre to Noah Kreider and Sons of OWNERS: Phone: 607-849-3345 Manheim. It consisted of a 2'A story limestone and brick farmhouse, frame barn, tobacco shed and silo with 85.3 acres of land. The second property, Landisville Farm is located on Shenk Road in East Hempfield Twp. The 71.7 acres con sisted of a 2'A story farmhouse with a frame barn and a tobacco shed. It was bought by John and Mary Risser of Manheim for $563,000 or $7700 per acre. John Risser is Mrs. Risser’s son. T. Glenn, Timothy G. and Thomas A. Horst were the auctioneers.
