The South Central Pennsylvania Cattlemen’s Association is sponsoring a beef ambassador this year. The ambassador will be selected by a panel of judges at the York Co. 4-H Center during March at a lime convenient to the candidates, committee and judges. The ambassador will be named at the annual beef ban quet on March 19, 1991. Contestants must be from a family producing beef in Pennsyl vania or be actively taking part in a 4-H or FFA beef project; must live in Pennsylvania and must have reached his/her 16th birthday by March 1, 1991, and not have reached his/her 21st birthday by that date; he/she must have his/her parent’s or guar dian’s consent; and must be single. The* contestants will appear at the York Co. 4-H Center. Judges there will score the individuals on the basis of appear ance, poise, personality, and knowledge of the cattle industry.
