Benzak, will take place Monday, December 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Galle ries, located at 33 West 57th Street Armstrong, whose watercolor paintings depict America’s rural areas and farmland, has exhibited in New York for twenty years. This presentation, entitled “Our Disappearing American Land scape”, is Armstrong’s seventh one-man show at the Hammer Galleries. In addition to the recep tion, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Armstrong’s paintings during the exhibition will be donated to support the American Farmland Trust’s programs. “I’m honored that my work will benefit the worthwhile efforts of the American Farmland Trust,” said Armstrong, who lives on a historic farm in Lycoming Coun ty, Pennsylvania. “To preserve irreplaceable natural resources, we must all realize our responsi bility towards our endangered landscape.” The American Farmland Trust (AFT) is the nation’s only nonpro fit, membership organization sol ely dedicated to preserving America’s valuable agricultural resources.
