Tessitore to execu tive vice president of JI Case and general manager of the company’s agricultural equipment group was announced today by James K. Ashford, president and chief executive officer. Tessitore, previously senior vice president and chief financial officer of Case, succeeds Michael A. Wolf, who resigned to pursue other opportunities. Ashford also announced that: • Richard L. Wambold, general manager of the company’s inter national business group, has been promoted to executive vice presi dent from senior vice president. In addition, Wambold has been given responsibility for the corpo rate planning and development and corporate information ser vices functions. • Edward H. McFadden is promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer, suc ceeding Tessitore. McFadden had been vice president, finance for Case. Tessitore, 45, joined Case in 1988 after 20 years of domestic and international business experi ence with Ford Motor Company’s tractor operations. Tessitore joined Ford’s tractor operations financial staff in 1968. In 1976, he became manager, marketing financial analysis, and in 1977 he moved to Brussels. Belgium, where for 3-1/2 years he served as controller of Ford’s European tractor operations. Tessitore returned to the United States in 1981 as controller of Ford’s international tractor opera tions. He was named manager, business strategy, in 1985; direc tor, manufacturing support, in 1987; and in 1988, was named vice president/controller of Ford New Holland, Inc., Ford’s agricul tural and industrial tractor and hay and forage implement operations based in New Holland, Pa. Wambold, 38, joined Case in 1988 as senior vice president and head of the company’s interna tional business group, responsible for the company’s business activi ties in markets outside of North Executive Case America and Europe. He joined Tenneco, Case’s Houston-based parent company, in 1977, and became vice president, corporate planning and development in January 1988. Previously at Tenneco, Wam bold held positions in corporate systems and corporate planning, served as administrative assistant to Tenneco Chairman and CEO James L. Ketelsen, and was presi dent of Tenneco Ventures, Inc. Wambold received a bachelor’s degree and a master of business administration degree from the University of Texas. McFadden, 47, came to Case In 1989 after 19 years with Ford Motor Company. At Ford, McFadden served as director, manufacturing and supply finan cial analysis for Ford New Hol land Inc.; manager, marketing financial analysis and controller of the Ford plant in Basildon, Eng land; manager, European pricing and merchandising analysis in Brussels, Belgium; and several other management positions with Ford’s tractor operations, both in the U.S. and Europe. McFadden holds a bachelor of science degree in economics and a master’s degree in international economics from Penn State University.
