Goddard Donates Awards UNIVERSITY PARK (Centre Co.) Dr. Maurice K. Goddard, Penn State professor emeritus of forestry and one of the pioneers of environmental policy making in Pennsylvania, has donated many of his most prestigious awards and honors to Penn State’s School of Forest Resources. The awards are on display in a cabinet made of Pennsylvania hardwoods and housed in Fergu son Building on the University Park campus. “We are delighted to receive and display these awards,” said Dr. Alfred D. Goddard Chair in Forestry and Conservation Penn State’s second endowed chair was established in 1984 to perpetuate Goddard’s philoso phy of conservation as an ethic and a way of life. Dr. Arthur A.
