The annual contest is open to anyone of any age who can sew, knit, crochet, or weave an outfit of wool; the only requirement is that the yam or fabric used be at least 60% wool fiber. There are four age categories: preteen (ages 13 & under), junior (ages 14-17), senior (ages 18-24), and adult.
