    DAMASCUS, Md.— It’s not
too early to begin your entry, for
the 1990 Maryland Make It Your
self With Wool Contest, which
will be held on Saturday, October
27, at the Kenilworth Park Mall
near Towson, Md.
The annual contest is open to
anyone of any age who can sew,
knit, crochet, or weave an outfit of
wool; the only requirement is that
the yam or fabric used be at least
60% wool fiber. There are four
age categories: preteen (ages 13 &
under), junior (ages 14-17), senior
(ages 18-24), and adult.
Top awards include an Elnita

The national finals will be held
January 17-20, 1991 in Long
Beach, Ca. Top prizes include col
lege scholarships, fashion trips to
New York City, serger sewing
machines, luggage, and savings
bonds.

may make any outfit of his/her
