Some traders felt today’s action was a continuation of Friday’s activity with the March option closing at its highest point for two weeks. Prices began to rally midday on news that the USDA is not expected to implement a market ing loan for beans in 1989. Strength in the cash market served to underpin prices with reports of bids as much as 45 cents over the March futures on barges. March ended today’s session at $7.56, up 9-1/2 cents. ##i this AlO .824 .B 5 818 D 4 B 2 Lancaster Farming, Saturday, February 25,1989-A3 WHEAT MAR. 89 424% C MAY 421% L JUL. 399 O SEPT. 406 S DEC. 417% E SOYBEAN MEAL MAR.
