Haas Gathers Charolais Premier; Bratton Takes Grand HARRISBURG (Dauphin) Raymond & Susan Bratton of RD 2, McVeytown, Mifflin County, captured top honors in the Charo lais judging competition at the Farm Show Complex. Their Sum mer yearling heifer, “BCF Tere a,” caught the judges eyes for grand champion female. Bratton Charolais Farms is a regular Farm Show exhibitor, cap luring many awards over their ten years as Farm Show exhibitors. They breed and raise most of their cows, currently numbering 120. The Bratton’s one entry at the Farm Show was a late entry because of another exhibitor’s Sue Bratton (at the halter) of McVeytown in Mifflin County with a last minute entry won the the grand champion female title In the Charolais competition at the State Farm Show.
