She also was committee head for the annu al Food Science Spring Picnic for students and faculty. Valerie began at the Penn State Altoona Campus and is now a senior majoring in food science. She is a graduate of Central High School. Ann Grumbine, daughter of Ray and Martha Grumbine of Myerstown. Ann is the 1988 presi dent of Collegiate 4-H at Penn State and was the exhibit chairper son for the 1988 Hort Show. John is a junior majoring in poultry technology and management He is a member of the Poultry Science Judging Team, has served as vice president of the Poultry Science Club and last spring, worked at the Penn State Poultry Farm. He is a member of Ag Student Council and is co-chairman of the 1988 Ag Hill Festival, a fall week-end of competitions and exhibitions for faculty and students in the College of Agriculture. Debra E. White, daughter of Janet and Michael White of Yard ley. Debra is a member of the Penn State Block and Bridle Club and has participated in the Little International Livestock Exhibition and the Red Meats Spectacular. She also is a member of the Pre- Vet Club. In addition to college activities, she plays intramural Farrowing Crate softball and is a member of the Chi Alpha Fellowship. Debra has won numerous honors and awards on the horse show riding circuit. She has worked as a veterinarian’s assistant at two hospitals and has been a sheep attendant at Penn State's Beef and Sheep Center.
