Stoitzfus Shows Howe of Downingtown The winners circle was a famil iar place for Brian Beam, son of Mr. & Mrs. Titus Beam of Elver son, who in the past three years has shown the champion hog. This year, Brian exhibited the reserve champion Market hog and the reserve champion trio. Brian’s hogs were bred by Nelson & Omar Beam of Elverson. The reserve champion weighed 225 pounds and was purchased by Leidy Pack aging of Souderton for $2 per pound. Leidy’s was also a volume buyer at the sale. Brian’s reserve champion trio was purchased for $.67 per pound by Erb’s Transport of Elverson. Sales averaged $.62 per pound.
