A denial after the close was issued along with further news that the delegation from India had been forced to postpone their November trip to the U.S. due to red tape problems in India. Continued con cern for the fungus-infected hard red wheat crop lent support to the deferred prices. The CCC wheat catalog was issued this morning and had little impact as most of the contents had already been factored into the trade. December closed 1-3/4 cents higher at $2.84 after posting a low midday through the sessionof $2.80.
