January Milk Price Jumps 97 Cents ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Middle Atlantic Order Market Ad ministrator Joseph D. Shine an nounced a Class I milk price of $14.94 per hundredweight for January 1987. This price is up 22 cents from December and is 97 cents above last January’s Class I price. Shine announced a Class II milk price of $11.99 per hundredweight for November 1986 and a butterfat differential of 17.5 cents for the month. The Class II price was up 22 cents from the previous month, while the butterfat differential decreased two-tenths of a cent. The January 1987 Class I price and the November 1986 Class II price are based on the November 1986 Minnesota-Wisconsin manufacturing milk price of $11.91 per hundredweight at a 3.5 percent fat content.
