The day begins at 11 a.m. with a large parade featuring the dairy prin cess contestants. The afternoon will be filled with activities such as milking contest, guess the weight of the cow con test, cow calling contest, milk relay, ice cream feeding contest, hay rolling contest, pedal tractor race, and a dairy bowl quiz. But A Lot Less To Pay” Three to Compete for Bradford County Dairy Princess Title the crowning of the new Bradford County Dairy Princess by the current dairy princess, Melissa Wilcox. The pageant begins at 8:15 p.m. in the Troy High School auditorium. Three contestants will compete for the title. They are Shelly Brown, Karen Cole, and Yonna Taylor. Shelly Brown is the 17-year-old daughter of Larry and Lois Brown of Rome. A student at Northeast High School, Shelley is a wrestling manager, secretary of Senior FHA, and a SADD representative. The Cole family crops 250 acres and milks 97 Brown Swiss. Yonna Taylor is the 17-year-old daughter of Duane and JanNeita Taylor of Canton. She also twirls rifle in Canton Marching Warriors. Yonna is a member of 4-H where she participates in showing horses.
