Seller offerings were generally noted as easily available on all product. Some settlers noted a willingness to offer discounts on trucklots to stimulate movement. Live supplies were fully adequate to ample. Weights were in a wide range but mostly desirable to heavy. Slaughter schedules were again reduced and very light in total. The undertone remained weak and unsettled. Today’s L.T.L. asking prices were 2 cents lower on U.S. Grade A at .4S-.49 cents. Estimated slaughter of broiler fryers in Delmarva (000). Floor stocks were generally adequate on the large and extra large sizes. Mediums were adequate to short in spots and inquiry for any excesses was fairly active. Ungraded demand was improved as packers sought ad ditional supplies of lightweight Class I’s, class 2’s and 3’s.
