She is also responsible for housing programs and will assist with the home preservation program. This fall, she will conduct three workshops Microwaving, Shake the Salt Habit, and The Market Basket. In addition, she will ad minister three newsletter series Your New Life Alone, Celebrate Your Family, and Family Time. She says she enjoys taking note of new products everywhere she goes, especially at the grocery store where she takes extra time in one aisle a week to search for new products. Mayewski had a chance to meet some of of the county’s 4-H’ers and their parents on her first day of work, which was 4-H Achievement day. “It was a nice, relaxing way to get acquainted,” Mayewski said. “I have found everybody here very friendly and very helpful.” For the next few months Mayewski will spend a lot of time getting acclimated to her new position, attending seminars, and learning about the county and the people. However, once she has more time to devote to programs, she says, “I really want to do what’s wanted and needed.” Aw»rt Cow I Jon Andrew Rollers Junior Champion Clayton Snyder Reserve Junior Champion Kevin Stoit*fus Senior and Grand Champion Jon Andrew Zollers Res Senior end Res Grand Champion Jon Andrew Zollers Bred and Owned 1 Clavton Snyder 7 Kevin Schlegel County Group 1 Berks County Best Three Females I Elco 2 Annvilte Cleona 3 Tuipehocken jotul, a tradition in cast iron since 1853.
