The winner, Dona Casale of Denair, Calif., along with the entire top 15 participants, will be honored at the All American Junior Banquet and Fun Fest in Louisville, Ky. on November 9. Dona’s cow, Mills Mike Dimple, produced 24,600 lbs. of milk on an age-adjusted, 4% fat-corrected milk (FCM) basis. The winners of the 1982 and 1983 contests were both from the western state of Oregon This contest is an annual evem sponsored by The American Jersey Cattle Club, Columbus, Ohio. It is open to any 4-H or FFA member under 19 years of age with a Jersey project completing a DHIR or DHIA lactation. The 60 entries this year, sub mitted by youth from 17 states, averaged a sensational 18,398 lbs. of 4% FCM. The top 15 entries averaged 21,812 lbs. of 4% FCM. California placed five entrants in the top 10 placmgs of the contest, including the second prize winner. Todd Rickenberger of Atwater, Calif, owns Starn Pilot Racquel, who produced 24,393 lbs. of 4% FCM. Northeast youth who placed in the top fifteen included: Timothy Lawton, Newark Valley, N.Y.; Sandra McCorquodale, Town shend, Mass.; Cindy Graf, Walpole, N.H.; Richard K.
