Marburger’s BY BARBARA RADER Staff Correspondent EVANS CITY - Nearly 300 Holstein enthusiasts attended the Butler County Holstein Twilight Meeting, held recently at the well known Marburger Farm Dairy. The 375-acre dairy farm and milk plant is owned and operated by Martin Marburger and his son, Jim. George Cudoc currently serves as farm manager of the 130- cow dairy. Sam Minor, of Washington County, served as official judge for a dairy judging contest during the evening activities. First-place judge was young Dale Wible, Butler, the six-year-old son of Curt and Colleen Wible. He received a 'l3k T 23 host Butler Holstein meeting show halter, and many other prizes were awarded to youth and adult winners. Butler County Dairj Princess Carolyn Sheiver presented the dairy promotion skit that she will be giving during the state pageant. Beverly Minor, a member of the Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Advisory Board, presented a program on the current milk situation and played several tapes of radio and television com mercials promoting dairy products.
