Dauphin plans tree planting HARRISVURG - Join in Celebrate 200!, Dauphin County’s Bicentennial, by planting trees on Arbor Day. The Dauphin County Conservation District observes Arbor Day by conducting an an nual seedling sale. According to Duayne Forsberg, Resource Specialist with the Conservation District, “Arbor Day is a sure-fire way to show your faith in the future. The trees you plant today could be there for your grandchildren to enjoy 100 years from now during Dauphin County’s Tricentennial.” The following evergreen or coniferous species available for sale this year-: Douglas Fir, Colorado Blue Spruce, Scotch Pine, and Canadian Hemlock.
