The 16 acre farmette was sold for $125,000 and included a 2 1/2 story frame house, barn with 28 cow stalls, heifer barn, garage and milk house. The second property was sold for $40,000 and was a large 2 1/2 story frame house with a 11/2 story barn and garden. The auctioneers were Lloyd Kreider, Randal Kline and Roy Good. XXX A Public Auction of Holstein heifers and farm machinery was held February 8 by Mr. and Mrs. Larry R. Oilier, 3 miles north of Leitersburg, Maryland. A big crowd attended the sale of a very cold and windy day. Some of the calves brought $125 & $l5O and the four bred heifers sold for $760, $740, $7lO and $650.
