XXX A Public Auction of real estate and trucks was held February 5 by The Twenty Two Feed Mill, between Allentown and Hamburg, Berks Co., Pa. The #1 parcel was a 6.90 acre farmette with a 2 1/2 story frame dwelling, bank barn and large garage and it was sold for $56,000. The §3 parcel was a 25.42 lot with a 500 capacity Cargill hog finishing unit with a Clay auto water cir culating system, fogging system, and stream and it was sold for $54,000. Zettlemoyer Surplus products sold to Iraq WASHINGTON - Secretary of Agriculture John R. Block has announced the sale of 12,000 metric tons of nonfat dry milk (NDM) and 2,560 metric tons of butteroil valued at $ll.B million to Iraq. The milk was owned by the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) and the butteroil will be processed from butter owned by the cor poration. CCC sold the milk for $650 per ton, and the butteroil for $1,562 per ton, both delivered f.a.s. U.S. port. These dairy products are part of the CCC surplus inventory acquired under the corporation’s dairy price support program Block said these prices are in line with recent sales of dairy products by other exporters.
