SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Two management staff appointments have been announced by Dairylea Cooperative, Inc., Syracuse, N.Y. Arthur D. Little has been named Assistant to the Vice President of Membership. Michael F. Herron, former geraral manager of O-AT-KA Milk Piaducts Cooperative, Inc., Batavia, N.Y., has been named General Manager of the Manufacturing Division. Little has served as the Nor theast Dairy Cooperative Federation Inc. (NEDCO) economist for the past 28 years. He has a B.S. in agricultural economics from the University of New Hampshire and a M.S. from the University of Connecticut. In his new position, Little will continue his work in economics and will be involved in mem bership and commodity activities. Little is also Executive Director of the Regional Cooperative Marketing Agency, Inc. (RCMA), Dairylea fills 2 top posts Arthur D. Little a common marketing agency representing Northeast dairy farmers, in which Dairylea is a -jk Michael F. Herron charter member, Little and his wife Helen reside in Liverpool, N.Y. and have three Lancaster Farming, Saturday, December 8,1984*819 daughters Kathie (Deyo), Karen (Goodfellow) and Debra. Herron served as the O-AT-KA general manager for the past three years, and previously was the co op’s manager of finance and ad ministration. Prior to O-AT-KA, Herron worked for seven years in the financial division of the University of Rochester, where he also earned a Bachelors of Science degree in economics. Dairylea Executive Vice President Bob Hall said, “Herron’s experience in both finance and plant management fills a key need in our manufacturing division in Oneida.” Herron and his wife Judith have three children Darlene, Chris and Dave.
