The 4-H’ers competed in Ayr shire. Guernsey, Holstein and Jersey classes for the grand and reserve grand championship titles. The young dairymen also pitted their fitting and showmanship skills against each other for ad ditional awards. Named grand champion in the Ayrshire contest was Kristie Kobosky, Cochranton, who won the 'honor with a junior calf entry. Guernsey honors went to Elaine Hill, Sandy Lake, who showed both the grand and reserve grand champion winners. The Holstein grand champion title was earned by Peter Mozes, Greenville. The reserve grand champion Holstein was shown by Marta Mozes, Greenville. Jersey honors went to Marsha Chess, Fredonia, grand champion, and Jacqueline Koontz, reserve grand champion. In the fitting contest, senior division winners were Elaine Hill, champion, and Ray Mozes, reserve. The intermediate division was won by Jackie Koontz, champion, and Marta Mozes, reserve, while junior winners were Ryan Rynd, champion, and Jason Gadsby, reserve. Senior division showmanship honors went to Kathy Minor, champion, and Ray Mozes, reserve. Intermediate showmanship winners were Marta Mozes, champion, and Lucy Parker, reserve.
