Both the grand and reserve hail from Kutztown in Berks County. The grand champion was bred by the syndicate trie of Dr. David Hagen, Robert “Whitey” McKown and Ray Seidel. The reserve was bred by Douglas M. Seidel. The sire of both is Creek Bluff Elevation Lester. Other top winners in the York County Holstein Show and the County 4-H Roundup include. Tom Boyer, of Sunnybend Farm had the Holstein Junior Champion in the county show and the reserve was shown by Jim McCaffree, of Gallantry Holsteins. Both the Premier Exhibitor and Breeder banners went to the Paul King family of Kingway Farm. C.E. Hubbard 111, right, earned the grand championship award in Holstein Division of York 4-H Roundup.
