Woods Drive Lititz, PA 17543 717-626-1151 BY JOYCE BLFP Staff Correspondent SEVEN VALLEYS - Jenelle Boyer bested both older and younger competitors last Friday to claim the honor as York County’s top junior cattle showman The eleven-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs. Tom Boyer, Biesecker Road, York Jenelle won the title as the highlight of the annual junior Holstein club’s fitting and showing workshop, hosted at Bupplynn Farms. Chosen as the county’s top fitting team were C. E. Hubbard, New Cumberland, and Tony Smith, Spring Grove. Runnerups in the showmanship contest were Scott Cooper, Delta, and Andy Ruhland, Seven Valleys. Both the fitting and showing contests topped a day of hands-on practice for showring competition, with teams of members given an unbroken heifer calf to clip, wash, fit and halter-break. Judge for the event was Steve Comman, partner in Justa Beauty Holsteins of Carlisle. Winners of the classes are as follows Fitting teams- C. E.
